Warehousing & Freeport Development: MaxCity Group’s newest venture

2022 sees MaxCity Group entering a new sector – freeport, logistics and warehousing – through a joint venture with its trusted partner, HV Holdings, a well-diversified group involved in the manufacturing, distribution and retail sector in Mauritius and in the region. MaxCity Group and HV Holdings are the co-founders of HV INDUSTRIAL ZONE Ltd, a property development company.
HV INDUSTRIAL ZONE Ltd owns 18 acres of leasehold land at the Riche Terre Business Park in Jin Fei, designed to host an industrial complex consisting of warehousing and logistics facilities, light industrial settings, office spaces and container parks. The entire complex will benefit from the advantages of the Freeport Zone status.

The 1st Phase of the project, comprising of 6000 M2 of warehousing facilities and common infrastructure, has been completed in December 2021 and has been fully rented out prior to completion of the construction works. Phase II is currently underway.
HV INDUSTRIAL ZONE Ltd aims to be a key Freeport Developer in Mauritius and the region, with a projected Gross Building Area of over 35,000 M2.
